Business Development Manager I

📋 Description

• Create champions for Carta’s VC investor products, including fund administration, fund formation
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Product, Engineering, Implementations, and
• Develop and execute strategies to convert law firms where Carta does not have deep relationships
• Coordinate and work alongside our Sales team to activate mutual books of business with law firms
• Lead discovery on additional paths for Carta to add value to our law firm partners to drive new
• Drive non-linear referral motions with law firm partners to reliably drive a 30%+ increase in

🎯 Requirements

• Significant knowledge of Venture Capital funds and the broader industry
• Strong familiarity with how law firms work with VC funds
• Relevant network of contacts within the community, specifically encompassing law firms
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills, with experience leading meetings with
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models
• Relevant Business Development/Partnerships/Sales or other industry experience
