Business Insights Analyst

📋 Description

• Partner with Sales, CS, Marketing, Finance, and Ops to understand decisions.
• Use data from commercial/finance/ops systems to generate insights.
• Use AI to compress synthesis and keep metrics framing consistent.
• Tell the story behind the numbers for CRO, CFO, or Head of Ops.
• Create lightweight summaries and repeatable insight outputs.
• Experiment with AI-assisted insight workflows, prompts, evals, and automations.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years in an analyst/insights/strategy/consulting role.
• Fluency in two of: revenue/retention/GTM; P&L/unit economics/FP&A; throughput/fulfillment/cycle time.
• AI-native style; use LLMs as a core thinking tool.
• Strong written and verbal storytelling; adapt framing for CRO/CFO/Head of Ops.
• Comfort with spreadsheets/reporting tools; SQL useful but not essential.
