Business Systems Engineer (Cork)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate consumption metering pipelines to marketplaces.
• Develop serverless logic across AWS and Azure with Python at core.
• Own metering codebase: drive review, testing, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Participate in on-call rotation for metering pipeline availability.
• Identify and mitigate risks across the system and architecture.
• Partner with Nexus to ship live balances and usage features.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering, incl billing/cloud marketplace integrations.
• Deep Python expertise: module development and tooling.
• Production AWS serverless and Azure services experience.
• REST APIs and external SDKs, with microservice patterns for AI.
• On-call readiness: alerting, idempotency, retries, observability.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
