Buyer Supply Chain (Category Flight Control, Power & Structure)

📋 Description

• Prepare and issue RFQs and RFIs for Flight and Power Control and Structures components, and
• Place and manage purchase orders, tracking status from order confirmation through to delivery
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status, escalating
• Maintain and organize procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records for audit and
• Handle day-to-day administrative supply chain tasks, including data entry, PO amendments, and
• Support senior supply chain specialists and category owners with sourcing activities and supplier

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of procurement or buying experience sourcing technical hardware, ideally within aerospace
• Experience preparing RFQs/RFIs and managing purchase orders end-to-end
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple orders and suppliers in
• Strong cross-functional communication and execution with engineering and production teams
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven hardware production environment
