C&I Engineer (Burner Systems)

📋 Description

• Review and approve instrumentation deliverables for fired equipment projects.
• Validate instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings, JB drawings, cables, and MTOs.
• Size and select control valves, on-off valves, flow elements, and measurement systems.
• Develop P&IDs, cause/effect matrices, control philosophies, and specs.
• Design and review Burner Management System (BMS) logic and ESD.
• Support PLC/automation activities: I/O lists, control logic, architecture, FAT/SAT.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical & Instrumentation or related.
• 5–12 years in Controls & Instrumentation in Oil & Gas, Refining, or Petrochemical.
• Strong instrumentation design and process control knowledge; PLC-based automation.
• Familiarity with control valve sizing and instrument selection.
• Strong knowledge of process safety and shutdown systems.
• Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning and startup activities.
