C++ Software Engineer – Autonomous Systems

📋 Description

• Develop Core Framework Software: design high-performance C++ systems for collaborative autonomy.
• Enable Collaborative Autonomy: coordinate and collaborate across multiple domains.
• Support multidisciplinary teams: work with autonomy engineers, product managers.
• Leverage modern development tools: use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development.
• Optimize performance: profile, debug, and optimize for real-time use.
• Automate workflows: create scripts and tools to improve development velocity and testing.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong C++ programming with modern C++ (C++20+).
• Experience with Python and shell scripting for automation.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).
• Strong design patterns, data structures, algorithms; Git & collaboration.
• U.S. citizen; eligible for Secret clearance; travel 2–5 days every other month.
