CAD Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for components using CAD software.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize production methods.
• Create complex CAD assemblies, performing interference checks, ensuring fit.
• Collaborate with engineering/manufacturing to refine designs for feasibility, performance, and cost.
• Prepare and manage engineering documentation, including BOMs and specification sheets.
• Ensure all designs and drawings comply with industry standards and internal quality requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience as CAD Design Engineer or similar.
• Detailed CAD design, assembly, and drafting experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo.
• Expertise in CAD assembly techniques for large assemblies.
• Strong CAD for Manufacturing (DFM) knowledge including additive/subtractive processes.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
