CAD Technician

📋 Description

• Draft plans and drawings for civil construction, remediation, demolition, and geotechnical projects.
• Interpret PDFs, rough sketches, or notes to CAD drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Agtek.
• Incorporate topo surveys and geophysical reports into drawings.
• Calculate cut/fill volumes, excavation tonnage, and related design metrics.
• Prepare take-offs and quantity estimates from design drawings.
• Create cross-sections, site plans, and 3D contour drawings; support As-Built docs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CAD Technology, drafting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years CAD Technician experience in engineering or construction.
• Experience with CAD drawing systems, especially AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive for company business.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (preferred).
• MS Office proficiency and data collection/analysis knowledge.
