Ensures food preparation is in accordance with planned menus and in sufficient quantities
Ensures food is properly stored and the proper temperature is maintained in hot and cold food items
Inspects work areas daily to ensure they are kept well organized and clean including store room
Ensures food is handled in a sanitary manner, including receipt, preparation, and storage
Check equipment daily to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation techniques are followed
Notify the Food Service Supervisor and issue work orders for repairs or replacement when necessary

🎯 Requirements

Three to six months related experience and/or training; must be able to make quantitative
High School Diploma required
One year in Culinary Arts or related field from a college or technical school and/or equivalent
Valid State Driver’s License; County Sanitation Certification
