Call for Experts: REDD+/MRV Subject Matter Experts (Short-term Consulting Assignments)

📋 Description

• Design and implement jurisdictional REDD+ programs, incl. MRV and baselines.
• Apply remote sensing, field carbon measurement, and geospatial analysis.
• Translate technical content for policy makers and donors.
• Develop methodologies aligned with ART-TREES and standards.
• Support governments on JREDD eligibility, performance, and verification.
• Provide capacity building and training on MRV and nested systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in environmental science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in REDD+ and forest carbon measurement.
• MRV, baselines experience with subnational/national governments.
• Experience with GHG accounting, inventories, and field data collection.
• Geospatial tooling: ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, and R and/or Python.
• Strong communication and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
