Canning Line Mechanic

📋 Description

• Maintain and repair high-speed canning line equipment (seamer, filler, packer, cartoner, palletizers, conveyors).
• Set up, changeover, and adjust equipment for seamer integrity and fill accuracy.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; diagnose root causes; support improvements.
• Document CMMS work orders; collaborate with Production, Quality, and Controls; assist line startups.
• Adhere to safety, GMP and food standards; lift up to 50 lbs; overtime as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years manufacturing maintenance experience in food/beverage.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Double-seam certification or formal seamer training.
• Experience supporting can line startups and commissioning.
• Working knowledge of PLC and VFD.
• Welding and machinery experience.
