Capacity Systems Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build the system of record for Industrial Compute planning and operations.
• Develop backend services, APIs, workflows, and data platforms for capacity forecasting.
• Build apps that connect delivery, fleet health, capacity, demand, and financial planning.
• Create planning and scenario-modeling systems to show tradeoffs across capacity, cost, reliability, and timing.
• Implement workflow automation and decision-support tooling to improve planning accuracy.
• Partner with Capacity Planning, Fleet Ops, Product, Finance, Infra Eng, and Supply Chain to translate workflows into software.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript; SQL and data warehouses.
• Experience building distributed systems, backend services, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing APIs, data pipelines, and integrations across multiple systems.
• Strong system design and software architecture skills.
• Experience with large operational datasets and cross-functional collaboration.
