Capital Markets Consultant – Commodities

📋 Description

• Demonstrate strong understanding of commodities trading across one or more asset classes, including
• Understand physical and financial commodity trading processes, including spot, forward, futures
• Analyse the end-to-end trade lifecycle, from deal capture and confirmation to scheduling
• Understand key commercial terms such as pricing formulas, market indices, volume and quality
• Support processes involving physical commodity movements, inventory management, nominations
• Understand commodity market risk concepts, including mark-to-market (MtM) valuation, position

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in commodities trading, CTRM/ETRM consulting, business analysis
• Hands-on experience in at least one commodities platform implementation, upgrade, rollout, or major
• Strong understanding of physical and/or financial commodities trading and associated business
• Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration support
• Understanding of the commodities trade lifecycle and its interaction with risk, operations
• Experience preparing BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, test cases, and
