📋 Description

• Maintains caseload of participants with career, academic, social, and personal counseling.
• Collaborates with departments to meet student needs; assesses students formally and informally.
• Aids students in continuing education or training; connects with community services for transition.
• Documents monthly counseling sessions and updates CIS; adjusts frequency for probation or need.
• Helps students set short- and long-term goals; identifies strengths and career challenges.
• Co-facilitates small group sessions on employability and tracks progress; supports orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours in social services-related instruction required.
• One year of counseling or related field experience required.
• Experience working with diverse youth populations.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment with acceptable driving record.
