Caregiver

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on personal care for ADLs (escort, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, lifting)
• Measure and document participants' vital signs as instructed
• Act as a medical escort for boarding/exiting WelbeHealth transportation
• Oversee day center activities to ensure participant safety
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed
• Collaborate with day center departments and contribute to care planning as IDT member

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• HHA certification or CNA in California preferred
• Must be willing and able to safely drive to escort locations in the program service area
• Minimum of one year of experience providing personal care to seniors
• CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
• Willing to work in multiple day centers as needed on an on-call basis
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire; CPR/First Aid certification upon hire preferred
