Category Analyst - Kroger

📋 Description

• Analyze retailer POS, syndicated, shopper, and other data sources to identify trends
• Develop fact-based business reviews, category reviews, topline reporting, and selling stories that
• Support account presentations related to new items, assortment, distribution opportunities, share
• Utilize Kroger-specific systems and data, including POS and shopper behavior data, to develop
• Track and monitor sales, distribution, assortment, and merchandising performance and identify
• Conduct promotional and pricing analyses to help evaluate performance and inform future planning.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in CPG, retail, category management, sales analytics, business analytics, or
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the curiosity to dig into data and understand the
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to manipulate data and translate analysis into
• Understanding of category management principles and concepts including pricing, promotion
• Experience working with syndicated data such as Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, and/or SPINS.
