Category Manager - Meat & Sea Food

📋 Description

• Lead category strategy and assortment for non-produce categories.
• Own P&L; negotiate to hit revenue, margins, SKU productivity, and waste goals.
• Manage vendor relationships; drive pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.
• Conduct market insights; identify trends and consumer preferences.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Inventory, Ops, Logistics, Marketing, IT.
• Support sustainability initiatives and cross-functional projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-6 years grocery retail or sourcing experience.
• Ecommerce or organic/natural food experience a plus.
• Buying experience and strong negotiating skills.
• Long-term strategic/financial planning with P/L experience.
• Excellent communication; ability to work across teams.
