Category Sourcing Manager

📋 Description

• Maintain category plans and execute category strategies across indirect spend categories
• Identify sourcing opportunities that generate measurable financial value and supplier risk reduction
• Lead medium to high complexity sourcing events that have a high impact on business operations
• Execute to category roadmaps that align business requirements with corporate objectives
• Analyze spend data and market conditions to identify opportunities and establish negotiation
• Develop and maintain key supplier relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree & 8+ years’ directly related experience
• 8+ years’ strategic sourcing experience acquiring professional services that support Marketing, IT
• Experience from pharmaceutical, biotech, med-device, consumer healthcare, or life science companies
• Experience building procurement capabilities in a growing or transforming organization
• Knowledge of procurement platforms, CLM tools, spend analysis solutions, and source-to-pay processes
• CPSM, CIPS, or other relevant professional certifications
