Category Specialist (WM)

📋 Description

• Support day-to-day category performance via analysis and execution.
• Monitor sales, profitability, assortment, and KPIs.
• Support assortment planning; improve product selection by customer needs.
• Coordinate pricing updates and promotions.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Support supplier negotiations and improve terms.
• Collaborate with ops, supply chain, content, marketing, and finance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Use data to identify growth opportunities and support decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, Retail, FMCG, or E-commerce.
• Experience with suppliers and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets; translate insights into actions.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• English and Russian required; Kazakh is a plus.
• Grocery retail or e-commerce experience is a plus.
