CDC NBS Technical Lead

📋 Description

• Provide strategic delivery leadership for modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple Agile teams; manage dependencies and risks.
• Serve as Scrum Master; facilitate ceremonies; support backlog management; remove blockers.
• Monitor delivery performance with Agile metrics and executive reporting.
• Recommend improvements to delivery predictability, quality, and outcomes.
• Mentor Scrum Masters, PMs, and tech leads to strengthen Agile maturity.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Public Health Informatics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years leading large-scale software modernization or health IT programs.
• Experience supporting federal government or public health modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of national public health surveillance systems and workflows.
• Translate epidemiological/operational workflows into requirements.
• Agile certifications such as PSM I or higher, CSP, PMI-ACP, or CSM.
