CDL A Yard Driver

📋 Description

• Walk the yard to identify and document vehicle defects in the DVCR booklet; communicate maintenance
• Obtain tractor/trailer list from D&S, record odometer, hub readings, and engine hours from
• Ensure trailers loaded with refrigerated products (e.g., cheese, chicken) are at adequate
• Ensure warehouse team members have trailers to unload and/or load
• Assist with unloading of trailers when necessary
• Reposition tractor/trailers on the yard to and from docks

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brakes
• Maintain DOT Med Cert
• Meet defined MVR standards to remain qualified to drive commercial motor vehicle
