Maintain accurate patient records
Demonstrate empathy and professionalism via phone, video, email, Slack, and messages
Complete a high volume of prior authorizations
Perform clinical administrative functions within scope of certification
Follow provider instructions: pharmacy refills, lab results, medical records, messages
Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect PHI per regulations

🎯 Requirements

CMA or RMA certification from NHA, AMT or AAMA required
Prior experience using the CoverMyMeds system
Experience submitting prior authorizations for weight loss meds (electronic and phone)
3+ years Medical Assistant (post externship); telehealth/remote a plus
2+ years ATHENA ONE outpatient EMR; 5+ years EMR overall; used Athena in 2024–2025
