Chattel Closing Assistant

📋 Description

• Maintain loan pipelines and provide status updates to borrowers and partners.
• Support closing and funding by sending documents, tracking signatures, and follow-ups.
• Collect, review, and organize funding conditions and supporting docs for accuracy.
• Obtain verifications of employment, addresses, and other borrower documentation.
• Review signed closing documents and identify missing items or discrepancies.
• Update loan statuses and clear funding conditions per workflows.
• Follow up on document signatures, funding conditions, and loan status timely.
• Learn closing documents, workflows, policies, and funding procedures.
• Support funding preparation and communicate with Accounting and internal departments.
• Adhere to compliance, service levels, and funding timelines.
• Provide coverage for loan pipelines during absences and periods of increased volume.
• Escalate issues per escalation procedures.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) or two years consistent work history required.
• Ability to communicate professionally with borrowers, builders, and team members.
• Capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously while remaining organized.
• Ability to adjust easily to different work situations.
• Excellent listening, organizational, and time management skills.
