Chemical Texturing Equipment Engineer, Solar Cells (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Own high-throughput texturing and preclean equipment for silicon HJT solar cells.
• Collaborate with Texturing Process Engineering to optimize surface morphology.
• Ensure tool availability, stability, uptime, and scaling for production.
• Lead hardware for equipment performance and process integration.
• Drive maintenance, experiments, and data-driven capacity improvements.
• Establish equipment metrics (OEE, MTBF) and SPC for stability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Eng, or Materials Science.
• 2+ years owning/maintaining chemical process equipment in high-volume solar/semiconductor.
• Experience with heterojunction silicon solar cell manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of chemical delivery, pumps, filtration, temp control, robotics.
• Proficiency with statistical tools, failure analysis, reliability engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, extended hours, cleanroom work; lift 25 lbs.
• Experience with high-reliability aerospace standards and ITAR compliance.
