📋 Description

• Define and execute security vision, strategy, and risk management framework across product, cloud
• Serve as incident commander during critical security events and own crisis communications
• Represent Coder to customers as executive security advocate during security reviews and sales
• Oversee vulnerability management and disclosure for open source codebase and enterprise customers
• Lead architecture reviews and secure design guidance for Go and TypeScript codebases
• Build secure paths for engineers with secure-by-default tooling, automated CI/CD guardrails

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of security experience with 5+ years leading security organizations as Head of Security
• Builder's mindset and genuine love of engineering
• Proven record of hiring, delegating, managing team leaders, and scaling functional teams across
• Hands-on experience leading executive response and crisis communications for critical security
• Experience supporting enterprise sales, handling customer security reviews, and building compliance
• Strong experience managing corporate IT and identity strategy in a remote or distributed company
