Manage the Microbiology Laboratory and staff
Ensure quality management system in Microbiology according to ISO 15189
Oversee departmental protocols, risk assessments, staff training and development
Approve laboratory results
Organize workload and prioritize tasks for effective department running
Lead and coordinate senior medical scientists, basic grade scientists, technicians and auxiliary

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor Degree & Master Degree in Biomedical Science
At least 7 years full-time clinical experience in Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory as Medical
At least 2 years' experience as a Senior Medical Scientist
CORU registered as Medical Scientist
HCPC registered as Biomedical Scientist
Thorough knowledge of Microbiological sample processing, culture, organism identification
