Civil Engineer I

📋 Description

• Perform conceptual, preliminary, and final design calculations for high-voltage transmission
• Design and interpret drawings for transmission and substation structures.
• Develop preliminary designs and weight takeoffs to support estimating and proposal activities.
• Use PLS-POLE, STAAD.Pro, and other engineering tools to analyze and design steel structures.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, applicable design codes, industry standards
• Review project requirements and identify technical risks, missing information, or potential design

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of four years of experience designing transmission and/or substation structures for the
• Strong experience with PLS-POLE and STAAD.Pro.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, steel design, design codes, and utility
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
