Civil Engineering Internship - Summer 2027

📋 Description

• Learn and apply building codes and structural design standards for civil projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and structural analyses using hand methods and ANSYS.
• Evaluate designs under static, dynamic, blast, vibration, and thermal loads.
• Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD.
• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and presentations.
• Assist in evaluating materials and developing structural component specifications.

🎯 Requirements

• Current student pursuing a B.S. or MS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred.
• Explicit dynamics analysis experience a plus.
• Python or Excel Macros scripting experience a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
