Civil Project Engineer - Stormwater

📋 Description

• Perform calculations, field work, task coordination, and client management
• Plan and execute tasks and small projects
• Lead field-oriented work on large/complex projects
• Identify follow-on work and pursue concepts with staff/clients
• Adhere to budget and schedule; anticipate issues and propose solutions
• Prepare reports and maintain clear field logs and notes

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in municipal stormwater design
• New Mexico P.E. license required; P.E. in other SW states a plus
• 5-10 years of municipal stormwater design, construction and operations
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
• Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling with HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS; AutoCAD Civil3D, StormCAD
• Open channel hydraulics, storm sewer design, bridge sizing, flow diversion
