Claim Specialist I - IV (NY WC Claims)

📋 Description

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and resolves NY workers' comp claims within authority.
• Maintains contact with insureds, injured workers, agents, attorneys, and underwriters.
• Administers timely indemnity and medical benefits.
• Develops litigation plans with defense counsel; attends mediations/arbitrations as needed.
• Manages claim files and ensures quality, best practices, and reserves.
• Coordinates care strategies, medical management, and Image Right workflow.

🎯 Requirements

• NY workers' compensation claims experience required.
• 1-4 years of workers' comp claim handling preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel and Image Right preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail and verbal/written communication.
