Claims Adjuster Trainee (Spanish Fluency Preferred)

📋 Description

• Complete training on workers’ comp claims handling, medical terms, and legal concepts.
• Build skills in investigation, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and planning.
• Conduct investigations to determine coverage, compensability, and severity; gather information.
• Calculate and adjust reserves per authority guidelines.
• Develop an action plan for resolving each claim.
• Coordinate with attorneys, nurse case managers, and investigators to resolve claims.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Verbal and written communication; Spanish fluency preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
• Basic math to calculate monetary reserves.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
