Claims Director

📋 Description

• Lead the Claims Department and staff
• Oversee investigations, evaluation, and resolution
• Review contracts, bills of lading, invoices, policies
• Approve settlements/denials within authority
• Negotiate with carriers, customers, brokers, insurers
• Develop reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics

🎯 Requirements

• Education: HS diploma required; BA preferred
• 10+ years cargo/claims experience
• 3+ years leading claims teams; 5+ preferred
• Advanced handling of high-value or sensitive claims
• Experience with claims systems, TMS, ERP
• Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Sales, Ops, Finance
