Claims Director

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the Claims Department and team.
• Manage investigation, evaluation, and resolution of cargo and property claims.
• Provide strategic leadership for claims operations and process improvements.
• Partner with internal/external stakeholders to minimize risk and maximize recoveries.
• Ensure exceptional customer service in claims outcomes.
• Review contracts, bills of lading, invoices, and policies to assess liability.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years cargo/transportation claims or related experience required.
• Advanced experience handling complex/high-value cargo and property damage claims.
• 3+ years leadership experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with claims reporting, analytics, dashboards, KPIs.
