Clinical AI Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and develop ~5 clinical AI ICs across two pods.
• Own the clinical AI roadmap, quality, and delivery.
• Hands-on projects: prompting, evaluation design, error analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and review team work.
• Ensure clinical quality with physician judgment in AI outputs.
• Coach ICs on planning, timelines, and proactive communication.

🎯 Requirements

• Physician (MD/DO) who completed residency and practiced clinically.
• 3-5+ years at a tech company after clinical practice.
• Managed direct reports at a tech company.
• Technically fluent: some coding, AI concepts; LLM product experience a plus.
• Strong executor: reliable, organized, proactive.
• Willing to work from SF office 3x/week; startup experience a plus.
