Clinical Database Programmer

📋 Description

• Design, build, test and maintain clinical study databases within EDC systems
• Develop and configure eCRFs, edit checks and study-specific database requirements
• Support clinical data transfers, integrations and database validation activities
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing EDC study support
• Collaborate with Data Management, project teams and sponsors to ensure successful study delivery
• Contribute to process improvements, automation and innovative solutions, including the use of AI

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent
• Previous experience in clinical database development, EDC programming or clinical study builds
• Previous experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment
• Knowledge of eCRFs, edit checks, database testing and clinical data management processes
• Understanding of programming principles, logic and database development
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
