Clinical Laboratory Associate I (Contractor)

📋 Description

• Verifies all aspects of incoming specimens and assess acceptability for testing
• Perform and enter information into the laboratory database
• Prepare samples for testing by centrifuging and fractionation
• Manage sample storage inventory
• Execute automated protocols on the Hamiltons
• Create sample batches and label tubes associated with each batches

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical laboratory science, clinical science
• 0 to 3 years of work experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Have working knowledge of local, state and federal laboratory regulations
• Ability to analyze and solve basic issues
• Ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers and work as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and be flexible with tasks and schedules
