Clinical Support Nurse

📋 Description

• Review incoming laboratory and other clinical results, identifying urgent or emergent findings that
• Coordinate appropriate follow-up with physicians and other members of the care team, including
• Sort, organize, and file clinical results within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Monitor incoming pharmacy faxes related to prescription refills and clarification requests
• Assist with organizing and processing incoming patient referrals.
• Accurately document clinical and administrative actions taken in patient charts.

🎯 Requirements

• Current nursing licensure in a Canadian province or territory; active licensure in Ontario
• Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• More than 3 years of experience working in clinical environments.
• Strong clinical knowledge, medical terminology knowledge, and clinical judgment.
• Understanding of confidentiality and the appropriate handling of protected health information in
