Cloud FinOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Drive cloud cost optimization: rightsizing, waste reduction, savings.
• Develop dashboards and insights on cloud spending and trends.
• Collaborate with Eng, Ops and Finance to align usage with budgets.
• Participate in architecture/design reviews for cost-efficient solutions.
• Leverage AI tooling to automate insight generation at scale.
• Establish and automate recurring FinOps governance policies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Finance or equivalent.
• AWS, GCP, and/or FinOps certifications.
• Python or Bash scripting proficiency.
• Experience with cloud cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Mgmt, GCP Billing).
• Data analysis/BI dashboards (SQL, BigQuery, Looker).
• FinOps experience incl. forecasting, invoicing, chargebacks, accruals, incl. AI.
