Cloud FinOps Engineer II

📋 Description

• Build and maintain cloud cost attribution, tagging, and allocation capabilities across AWS.
• Implement and improve CloudZero integrations, dashboards, reports, and data quality checks.
• Develop automation for cost anomaly detection, alerting, and investigation workflows.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, and FinOps stakeholders to define useful unit-cost
• Support showback and chargeback capabilities by improving ownership, service, team, and cost-center
• Help establish FinOps checkpoints in the software development lifecycle.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, cloud cost management, or FinOps-related
• Experience supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Working knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Python, Go, Bash, or another scripting language.
• Understanding of cloud cost concepts, including tagging, allocation, usage reporting, and anomaly
• Experience with CloudZero, AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, or similar FinOps tooling is preferred.
