Cloud Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Coordinate with a global Cloud Operations team to ensure uptime guarantees for Atlas customers.
• Scale the worldwide Cloud Operations Engineering team by refining processes and tools.
• Design/deploy systems that reduce Mean Time to Resolve for incidents.
• Monitor and detect incidents on Atlas; assist in proactive resolution.
• Automate routine monitoring and troubleshooting tasks.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation and handle short-term incidents.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years as an on-call DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations engineer.
• Linux system administration, configuration, troubleshooting.
• Experience in monitoring, data collection and analysis, and reporting.
• Knowledge of database operations and concepts.
• Networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, etc.).
• Familiarity with AWS and other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
