Cloud Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation to meet IA/security requirements.
• Define desired state and risk thresholds; analyze actual state to assess compliance.
• Evaluate software and apps to ensure software assurance practices are followed.
• Recommend tools and capabilities for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid resources to address security needs.
• Implement cloud security architectures, tools, and processes you helped shape.
• Collaborate with IC clients to ensure standards meet security requirements using the latest cloud tech.

🎯 Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a counter-intelligence polygraph.
• 5+ years building and administering cloud environments; cloud-native, COTS, GOTS, OSS.
• Experience developing and evaluating security documentation (SSP, contingency plans, COOP, security procedures).
• Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
• RMF experience; Agile development experience.
• Infrastructure as Code concepts: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Degree: AS with 5+ yrs, BS with 3+ yrs, or MS with 1+ yrs IT experience.
