Cloud Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own vulnerability and threat management for the Manchester office.
• Run end-to-end vulnerability program across systems, networks, and apps.
• Investigate threats and provide patching/hardening guidance.
• Lead on-site IT support; manage accounts and access.
• On-call for critical issues outside office hours.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity team across time zones.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in cybersecurity; focus on vulnerability/threat mgmt.
• On-site security lead for Manchester; strong independent judgement.
• Windows IT, Networking, and office IT support skills.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, SIEM.
• Knowledge of UK data protection frameworks (Cyber Essentials / ISO27001) bonus.
• Comfort with on-call rotation and cross-time-zone collaboration.
