Coal Technician (Unanderra)

📋 Description

• Casual Coal Technician in Unanderra, NSW; fast-paced, supportive work environment.
• Responsible for sampling, preparation, and basic analysis of samples for internal/external
• Contribute to sample preparation, analysis, and storage to meet SGS objectives.
• Carry out physical coal sampling and testing of routine samples.
• Receipt, recording, sorting, and storage of coal samples as required.
• Deliver quality samples to internal/external customers.

🎯 Requirements

• On-the-job training with 6-12 months experience in a lab or chemical process; OR
• Completion of Higher School Certificate with English, Maths, Science; or equivalent
• Progress towards or completion of relevant formal qualifications preferred
• Pass numeracy, writing, and comprehension tests to standard
• Experience in prep/labary is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines
