Assist with the setup, calibration, and verification of numerical models for wave transformation
Communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders effectively, using both written and verbal
Observe construction operations and evaluate site conditions
Perform industry-standard data analyses related to coastal engineering
Prepare construction plans and technical specifications
Assemble data and documentation to support state and federal permit applications

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Ocean, Coastal, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, or a related field from
Master’s degree in Oceanographic or Coastal Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited program
Experience using coastal modeling platforms such as Delft3D, MIKE/DHI, SMS, ADCIRC, XBeach
Construction oversight experience (preferred)
Coursework, research, or experience in beach nourishment; coastal structures; and coastal
Technical report writing experience (preferred)
