πŸ“‹ Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VA HIMS supervisors and coding leads, maintaining
  • Assign coding work, monitor productivity and turnaround times, and proactively communicate risks
  • Conduct ongoing quality reviews covering at least 5% of coded data, including ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT
  • Develop corrective action plans and coach coders when accuracy falls below the required 95%
  • Respond to coder questions involving documentation and coding interpretation, escalating complex
  • Coordinate record re-reviews requested before billing and support responses to claim denials.

🎯 Requirements

  • Hold an active RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H credential.
  • Have at least 3 years of professional coding experience, together with supervisory, team-lead, or
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient coding, including ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT
  • Have completed an accredited coding, Health Information Management, or Health Information
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with
  • Be a U.S. citizen and able to successfully complete a federal background investigation, including
