Commercial Cost Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and refine detailed cost models for large-scale data center cooling systems
• Incorporate controls, startup, commissioning, logistics, and service requirements into equipment
• Support pricing strategies for single-site installations, data center campuses, and large-scale
• Establish and apply pricing tiers, volume discounts, and breakpoints for projects of varying sizes
• Account for regional variations in labor, transportation, regulatory compliance, and currency
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Operations to ensure pricing reflects technical

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in equipment pricing, cost engineering, industrial estimating, or
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale equipment, industrial systems, or multi-megawatt projects.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to develop and interpret detailed cost models.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous project scopes while documenting assumptions.
