Commercial Counsel, Deal Desk - Orb

📋 Description

• Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice across Orb's various commercial functions
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial agreements
• Advise the business on new products and services, helping to structure and mitigate risk as
• Create and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and other negotiation resources.
• Proactively problem solve for emerging legal and operational risks, providing risk-based decisions
• Advise on early-stage customer disputes, managing initial phases of legal conflicts, and providing

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of legal experience, in house or at a law firm.
• Strong commercial contracting and/or other transactional experience with a solid understanding of
• Clear communicator who ensures stakeholders understand the purpose and reasoning behind decisions.
• Solid people skills and ability to work well with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Curious, ask questions, and take ownership over learning and professional growth.
• Self-motivated, pragmatic, reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
