Commercial Counsel, Healthcare

📋 Description

• Own the full lifecycle of commercial contracts with health systems and partners.
• Manage vendor contracts, including SaaS, service, licensing, and DPAs.
• Collaborate with finance, security, and compliance to meet Cadence's standards.
• Develop and maintain contracting playbooks and templates for speed and protection.
• Manage the existing contract portfolio, amendments, renewals, and inquiries.
• Advise on healthcare regulatory considerations in deal structures (AKS, Stark, etc).

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years handling commercial contracts in-house or at law firm, in healthcare.
• Working knowledge of federal/state healthcare regs (AKS, Stark, CMP) and HIPAA.
• Experience building contracting processes (playbooks, clause libraries, templates).
• JD from accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Commercial attorney with healthcare exp who owns contracting with minimal oversight.
• Fluency with AI tools and ability to evaluate AI-driven insights in fast-paced environments.
