📋 Description

• Support the AMER Sales team; lead negotiations for complex agreements.
• Advise on commercial/legal issues including launches and expansions.
• Collaborate with Product Legal to bring new products to market.
• Develop Stripe’s legal infrastructure; draft agreements and playbooks.
• Partner with global teams across sales, operations, product, tax, risk.
• Deliver training; be escalation point for outside counsel.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant in-house or tech law firm experience.
• US state bar with JD or foreign equivalent.
• Curious, creative problem solver; eager to learn new products.
• Self-starter with bias for action and ownership.
• Clear written and verbal communicator; distills risks clearly.
• Collaborator; guides cross-functional teams to win-win outcomes.
