Commercial HVAC Estimator

📋 Description

• Perform detailed material takeoffs for commercial HVAC projects using blueprints, construction
• Read, interpret, and analyze mechanical plans, equipment schedules, and project documentation.
• Estimate quantities for HVAC ductwork, equipment, piping, fittings, insulation, accessories, and
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial bid submissions.
• Calculate material quantities, labor requirements, equipment costs, and other relevant project
• Review project specifications and applicable U.S. construction standards to ensure estimates

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of estimating experience, with substantial hands-on experience specifically in commercial
• Proven experience estimating commercial HVAC projects for contractors or commercial mechanical
• Strong ability to interpret commercial construction drawings, mechanical plans, equipment
• Demonstrated experience performing HVAC material takeoffs and preparing cost estimates
• Working knowledge of U.S. commercial construction standards, applicable mechanical codes, and
• Understanding of HVAC materials, installation methods, labor estimating, and commercial bid
